Dehradun : A special screening of the film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’, based on human values and emotions, was organized at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, IMA, located in Dehradun on Saturday. This approximately 30-minute film focuses on the struggles of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his childhood and his commitment to the public service. The film is also a powerful tribute to the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda.
After the screening, the school principal, Shri Mamchand, said that the real purpose of life is not just to live for oneself, but to serve others and dedicate oneself to society. He said that this film teaches us that even at a young age, we can bring about a great change if we are sensitive to society.
After the screening, the students also shared their reactions. Student Anvesha Topal said that it is not the size of a person that matters, but the size of their ideas, and this film is extremely inspiring. Student Krishna Kaur Talwar said that the film taught her that fulfilling one’s responsibility towards society is a true success. KV IMA Student Soumya said that this documentary inspires us to move forward with a positive mindset. Similarly, student Gautamya said that even at a young age, big dreams and big ideas can show us the path to doing something for society.
This special screening, held in the school premises, spread a new message of inspiration, responsibility, and a spirit of service among the students. The film is also being screened at INOX Mall of Dehradun, PVR Centrio Mall and PVR Pacific Mall in Dehradun till September 24.
