Resolutions on topics like education, social transformation, natural disasters, divisive forces and Bangladeshi infiltration to be passed in the 71st National Conferenc The one-day Central Working Committee meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad concluded in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand’s Dehradun. The meeting was inaugurated by ABVP’s National President Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi, National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki and National Organising Secretary Shri Ashish Chauhan at the ‘Late Shri Radheshyam’ Meeting Hall set-up in ‘Bhagwan Birsa Munda Nagar’ at Dehradun’s Parade Ground. A total of 107 representatives from across the country participated in this meeting.
On the occasion of the 350th martyrdom day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a sacred water-urn from his martyrdom site, Gurdwara Sheesh Ganj Sahib in Delhi, was brought to the conference venue by ABVP Delhi’s State Secretary alongwith other karyakartas. After a grand welcome, National President and General Secretary placed the urn in the main hall of the meeting for the representatives from across the nation to pay obeisance. The arrival of this sacred water will awaken the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s immortal sacrifice among the youth.
In this one-day Central Working Committee meeting, significant discussions took place on education and subjects related to society. Deliberation was also held on the five resolutions to be passed in ABVP’s 71st National Conference. Based on suggestions received from students, academicians and key stakeholders from major universities across the country, extensive dialogue was held on crucial issues such as education, social transformation, natural disasters, divisive forces and Bangladeshi infiltration, which will be passed in the upcoming National Conference scheduled from 28 to 30 November.
ABVP National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki also presented details of ABVP-led student unions elected in universities and colleges across the nation. Convenors of various forums and activities of ABVP also shared information about the special events and programmes being conducted across the country.
ABVP’s National Executive Council meeting will be organized tomorrow, 27 November, at the same Parade Ground in Dehradun. ‘Bhagwan Birsa Sandesh Yatra’, taken out from his birthplace Ulihatu (Jharkhand) on the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, and the ‘Maharani Abbakka Kalash Yatra’, taken out from her birthplace in Karnataka on the 500th birth anniversary of Maharani Abbakka, will reach the conference venue tomorrow.

A wide dialogue on five resolutions related to education, social transformation, natural disasters, divisisive forces and Bangladeshi infiltration also took place, and all important suggestions received in today’s meeting will be incorporated and passed in the upcoming National Conference. Certainly, after these resolutions are passed, karyakartas across the country will work effectively in their respective fields and educational institutions for their implementation. Along with this, in the 71st National Conference, through various speeches, dialogues and parallel sessions, important contemporary issues will be deliberated upon, and ABVP will move ahead with full energy and dedication in upcoming campaigns and programmes.”
