BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh today reviewed the ongoing organisational programmes of Bharatiya Janata Party, Uttarakhand at an organisational meeting held in Dehradun, holding detailed discussions on the road ahead and guiding the office-bearers present. State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and former MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal were also present. The meeting was conducted by State General Secretary Tarun Bansal.<\/p>\n

Among those present on the occasion were National Co-Treasurer and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MP Ajay Bhatt, Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini, State General Secretary Kundan Parihar and State General Secretary Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj, along with all cabinet ministers, state office-bearers, MLAs, district in-charges, co-in-charges and district presidents.<\/p>\n

Prior to the meeting, Chugh held a cordial interaction with the popular Chief Minister of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, and State President Mahendra Bhatt, in which detailed discussions were held on realising the goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ through people’s participation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and on further strengthening the spirit of ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’.<\/p>\n

Addressing the media on the occasion, Tarun Chugh congratulated Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on implementing a historic farm loan waiver scheme worth Rs. 36,585 crore. He said this decision, which brings major relief to lakhs of farmers in the state, is powerful proof of the farmer-friendly vision of the double-engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

Launching a sharp attack on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Chugh asked when the electoral promise of a complete farm loan waiver would finally be fulfilled. He said the farmer of Punjab remains crushed under the burden of debt, crop distress and false assurances, and asked how long a government that makes promises will keep running away from accountability.<\/p>\n\n
